Airtel is busy rolling out software update to its HD Set Top Box variants. It has been long since the devices has received flavours of new patches.
The latest software jumped to Release Number 851 from earlier number of 802. The receiver software version is 8.5.1.001 as of MAR 05 2024.
There as no major changes in the log, but the device speed as Channel Switching time has been minimised.
The picture quality now has been slightly at crispier side. You can get to know the difference on HD channels. The sound quality has also been improved.
Any other changes in the software will be intimated here.
Kindly wait for some time if you haven't yet received the upgrade.
