Airtel Digital TV has started pushing important upgrades to all its Set Top Box devices (STBs). It is the crucial part through which new features can be added to enable multiple services to customer end.
The latest release by Airtel Digital TV has started after days of testing.
The release is further pushed in phased manner according to manufacturer of the device.
The latest software update which is going to hit the device will have the release number 703 as can be seen in the pictures below.
In this update, Airtel Digital TV has done many changes from UI improvements to graphical enhancements. Some changes that we have noticed will be shared here.
1) STB Bootup Screen
The bootup screen has been changed from earlier version. Now you can see Airtel Digital TV branding with black background which looks appealing. along with that you can see Account information like Balance and Validity date. Here is the Screenshot,
2) EPG Menu Font Size Reduced
The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) font size has been reduced. The Channel number and price of a particular channel remains constant. Now it becomes easier to can see the price tag of a particular channel. It can be used as a shortcut to view your favorite channels. The audio and video quality has also improved. 3) Menu Screen Changed
The menu screen is now showing the most viewed channel by you along with the channel logo. It also shows other channel logos which is recommended by Airtel Digital TV. Promotional Stickers are also visible. Here is the Screenshot,
